Colorado State Fair - enter the general competition, or just come have fun!  We generally demonstrate the first Saturday of the fair

International Organization of Lace, Inc (www.internationalorganizationoflace.org) -  USA annual conventions complete with lots of classes in lacemaking and related techniques.  They also publish a quarterly Bulletin, containing articles about lace techniques and history, patterns, book reviews, calendar of events, and pictures of both new and antique lace.
